Ribbon Cutting – Texas Roadhouse

What an honor it was for The Fresno Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors to attend the Ribbon Cutting for the NEW Texas Roadhouse located at 3190 West Shaw Avenue. We were treated to VIP service as the Managing Partner, Matt Johnson, welcomed us and let us be one of the lucky firsts to eat at this delicious steakhouse! The atmosphere was invigorating with dancing staff, the smell of the yeast rolls about knocked you off your rocker, and I haven’t even started on the FOOD yet! After the Ribbon Cutting we sat down and were lavished with tastings of ALL the appetizers they make, including the unique and amazing fried pickles! And did I mention the yeast rolls?!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!! After we were filled to the brim from all the appetizers, we each got to try whatever entrée we wanted and everyone was impressed and incredibly FULL by the end of the evening! Everyone loved their food and I heard rave reviews about everything from their famous “Fall-Off-The-Bone” Ribs, melt in your mouth hand-cut steaks, smothered BBQ Chicken, loaded sweet potatoes (with caramel sauce and marshmallows) and so much more! Ribbon Cutting – Valley Teen Ranch

On Thursday, April 5th, the Fresno Chamber Ambassadors helped celebrate the Ribbon Cutting of Valley Teen Ranch located at 2610 W. Shaw Lane in Fresno (which is near Marks and Shaw). Valley Teen Ranch is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as a Residential Treatment Group Home, Therapeutic Foster Family Agency, and Adoption Agency. In fact, Valley Teen Ranch is a replica of a successful program in Michigan called Teen Ranch. They also operate a Transitional Living Home. Their mission statement is “To assist vulnerable young people and their families in rebuilding their lives through caring relationships and opportunities to grow mentally, physically, socially and spiritually by living in a safe and healthy home”. The Fresno Chamber Ambassadors look forward to seeing Valley Teen Ranch continuing to improve the lives of troubled and “at risk” youth in the Central Valley.
