March 14th marks the first Leadership Fresno Alumni Association Fireside Chat of 2012. Join other Alumni for an intimate gathering with community leaders in a closed setting.

The March Chat is being hosted at Stonebridge Club House (Herndon/Marks) and features a great team of Law enforcement leaders. This is your chance to talk in a small group setting (60max), with Deputy Police Chief, Pat Farmer as well as District Attorney Elizabeth Egan, and Fresno Sheriff Margaret Mims. We are very excited to bring you this one-on-one time, and recommend you not miss this event.

As usual, Fireside Chats are open to paid Alumni members only. Ticket are only $10. Our March panel of guest speakers are joining a prestigious group the likes of Ashley Swearengin and most recently, Larry Powell.

Make plans to attend now……….there’s not another Fireside Chat until June 27th.

Leadership Fresno is a program designed to stretch and challenge you.

The steering committee is now accepting applications and encourages you to review the application process and apply online.

All alumni are invited to our Alumni Mixer – January 19, 2012 at the Elbow Room in Fig Garden Village. This is our first Leadership Fresno Alumni Association gathering for 2012. Plan on connecting with old friends & classmates as well as meeting new ones. This is a “no host” event and you are welcome to bring a guest with you. Hope to see you out on the heated patio next to the fireplace.

I’m looking forward to serving as Alumni President in 2012 with great anticipation.

It’s been an amazing resurgence in 2011 for the Leadership Fresno Alumni Association, with many returning alumni getting re-engaged in leadership roles.

Fireside Chats have been high points for me personally, as we recently hosted Mayor Ashley Swearengin, and just this November we had an intimate discussion with Larry Powell. If you are on the fence regarding alumni membership, the Fireside Chats alone, are worth the price of admission.

I’m happy to report that we have new websites for both the Chamber, Leadership Fresno & the Alumni Association. Plans for more frequent & efficient communications are fully underway in the form of Blogs, Social media (Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIN), and Constant Contact Email blasts.

Lastly, we are very close to actually inviting all 800+ Alumni to become paid members of the association. Membership invitations, dues, Contact info, and custom (member edited) profiles will all be managed directly through our website – this is very exciting!
