I agree and understand that any misrepresentation or omission of material facts herein will cause disqualification of my application. I understand that selection of applicants is the sole responsibility of the Steering Committee of Leadership Fresno.

Participation Committment

  • Upon acceptance by the Steering Committee as a participant in Leadership Fresno, I understand that I am expected to attend the orientation, the two-day retreat and all class sessions. Knowing that emergencies can arise, I am allowed up to two absences (for any reason) before being dropped from the program. I know that an absence includes the following:

    1. Missing a full session (A full day’s absence)
    2. Tardiness to class (Considered one-half day’s absence)
    3. Tardiness during any class including before or after a break (Considered one-half day’s absence)
    4. Leaving class 30 minutes or more before the class ending time (Considered one-half day’s absence).

    I understand that I will not graduate from Leadership Fresno if I am absent for any period of time beyond 2 class days. There will be no refunds of the registration fee.

    I understand that my commitment includes a $1095 tuition fee payable by the first class session. (Payment plans are available as are partial scholarships.) Other costs will be covered by Leadership Fresno. Once Leadership Fresno starts and I have attended the orientation or first class session, there will be no refunds of the participant fee.

    During the year, I will actively participate in the class days and in the identification, selection and implementation of the class project which involves hours outside the class days.

    Upon graduation from Leadership Fresno, I understand that I am expected to utilize my experiences to be an active leader on behalf of business and my community.

Release of all Claims

  • Release made on this day, by a participant of Leadership Fresno.

    In consideration of permission granted me by the Leadership Fresno Steering Committee, to participate in Leadership Fresno, I hereby release and discharge Leadership Fresno and its agents, employees, officers and Board from all claims, demands, actions, judgments and executions which the undersigned ever had, or now has, or may have, or which the undersigned’s heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns may have, or claim to have, against the above-mentioned entity and persons, or their successors or assigns for all personal injuries, known or unknown, and injuries to property, real or personal, caused by, or resulting from, my participation in Leadership Fresno.

    I, the undersigned, have read this release in its entirety and understand all its terms. I execute it voluntarily and with complete knowledge of its significance.
