I’m looking forward to serving as Alumni President in 2012 with great anticipation.
It’s been an amazing resurgence in 2011 for the Leadership Fresno Alumni Association, with many returning alumni getting re-engaged in leadership roles.
Fireside Chats have been high points for me personally, as we recently hosted Mayor Ashley Swearengin, and just this November we had an intimate discussion with Larry Powell. If you are on the fence regarding alumni membership, the Fireside Chats alone, are worth the price of admission.
I’m happy to report that we have new websites for both the Chamber, Leadership Fresno & the Alumni Association. Plans for more frequent & efficient communications are fully underway in the form of Blogs, Social media (Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIN), and Constant Contact Email blasts.
Lastly, we are very close to actually inviting all 800+ Alumni to become paid members of the association. Membership invitations, dues, Contact info, and custom (member edited) profiles will all be managed directly through our website – this is very exciting!
