Goals of Leadership Fresno

The goals of the program are:

  • To identify and prepare potential and current leaders from all areas of the community for leadership roles throughout the greater Fresno area
  • To provide a broad overview of the issues, challenges and opportunities facing our city, county and the greater community
  • To promote access to and dialogue with community leaders
  • To stimulate increased participation and commitment in the community

Sessions Include:

Curriculum 

The Program includes a retreat, nine (9) one-day class sessions, and a class project. It costs $1,950 for Chamber Members and $2,150 for Non-Members.

Retreat

A two (2) day retreat (overnight) designed for class members to get to know each other and understand the program better. The retreat includes teambuilding exercises and a selection of class officers led by a professional facilitator.

Class Project & Meetings

The topic, scope, and nature of the class project are selected by the class. Class meetings, which take place outside of class time, are used to select and work on the class project.

Each of the above topics is a one-day class session, generally held on the third Thursday of the month from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
