Part 1, Eviction Rules in the City of Los Angeles, takes place Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m. The 90-minute session provides an overview of eviction provisions under the city’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) and Just Cause for Eviction Ordinance (JCO), including ordinance applicability, at-fault and no-fault eviction grounds, filing and notice requirements, and relocation assistance requirements for no-fault evictions.

Part 2, Rent Control in the City of Los Angeles: The Rent Stabilization Ordinance, is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. This session focuses on the RSO’s rent cap and registration provisions, including 2026 updates, annual allowable rent increase rules, registration and notification requirements, rent increase notice requirements, and related compliance topics.

Both sessions also review relevant CAA forms designed for use within the City of Los Angeles. The webinars are led by Whitney Prout, executive vice president of legal affairs for CAA, and Mallory Homewood, policy and compliance counsel, local government affairs.

Providers may register for either session individually or through the LA Eviction and Rent Control Series Bundle Package.
