The Fresno Chamber of Commerce’s Agriculture Awards Celebration has been a long-standing tradition that has honored many people who have demonstrated a sincere commitment to the Fresno agricultural community through both personal efforts and leadership abilities.

The Agriculturalist of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has contributed significantly to the industry in the greater Fresno area. The winner must also have a history of demonstrated dedication to the agricultural community with personal efforts and leadership. Individuals nominated must have clearly represented the industry over a number of years in one or more of the following areas: finance, government, production agriculture, education, labor, research, communications, trade and public service.

1. Nominee has contributed significantly to the industry in the greater Fresno Area
2. Nominee has demonstrated history of dedication to the agricultural community through personal efforts and leadership.
3. Nominee has represented the industry for at least 10 years.
4. Nominee is not a former winner
