The Fresno Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 2022 Valley Business Awards on February 24th. This year, the event will be held virtually, through a partnership with KSEE 24 and the assistance of Valley PBS. This event serves as a platform to celebrate the best of Fresno through the presentation of several of the Chamber’s most prestigious awards.
The main event will be the presentation of the esteemed Leon S. Peters Award, which is given based on one’s outstanding leadership through devotion of time and talents to better the greater Fresno community. This year’s recipient is Thomas G. Richards of the Penstar Group.
Another highlight of the event will be the recognition of several Fresno-based companies for their established and growing entrepreneurial endeavors. The awards that will be given this year include:
Harold Zinkin Entrepreneur of the Year – Darden Architects
Community Champion of the Year – Kotman Technology
Rising Star Entrepreneur of the Year Award – Windsong Productions
Student Entrepreneur of the Year – Melvin Velasquez
