An online survey is open for Fresno County residents to share their thoughts on how transportation dollars should be spent as part of the Measure C renewal process.

Community members are encouraged to help shape spending priorities by indicating how much funding they’d like to go toward local streets and roads, public transit, walkways and bike paths, and regional improvements.

Measure C is a half-cent sales tax first approved by Fresno County voters in 1986 to support transportation across the region. Since then, it has funded a wide range of improvements, from pothole repairs and repaved streets to new freeway lanes and upgrades at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

Voters extended the tax in 2006 for another 20 years. That extension is set to expire in 2027, with a new renewal proposal going before voters in 2026.

In the meantime, the survey gives the public a chance to weigh in on what matters most in their communities.

Residents can also share feedback at in-person and online workshops hosted by the Fresno Council of Governments. Click here to view the workshop calendar.
