FRESNO, Calif. – The Tower District Specific Plan Implementation Committee convened on January 14, 2025, at Fresno City Hall to discuss progress on the area’s specific plan update. A major highlight was the announcement of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR), anticipated for completion by late summer or early fall. Following the EIR, a 45-day public comment period will provide community members the opportunity to review and offer feedback. The finalized plan is slated for presentation to the Fresno City Council by the end of 2025.
FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno City Council began the new year with significant changes as councilmembers for Districts 2, 4, and 6 were sworn in on Thursday, January 9. Mike Karbassi and Tyler Maxwell will continue to represent Districts 2 and 4, while Nick Richardson takes on the role for District 6, succeeding Garry Bredefeld, who recently transitioned to the Fresno County Board of Supervisors.
