The Fresno Chamber of Commerce is rolling out a fresh way to connect: Member Meetups.

This monthly event is all about bringing Chamber members together in a welcoming setting where connections ignite and opportunities unfold. It’s a fun way to share your story, discover what others are working on, and build relationships that can open doors for your business. Each gathering is a chance for members to meet and chat in a relaxed atmosphere, exchanging ideas and supporting one another.

“These meetups create a space for our members to truly connect beyond business cards,” said Dejah Magaña, the Chamber’s membership and program coordinator. “It’s about building meaningful relationships that strengthen our community. Sometimes the greatest value we can offer is simply time and space for members to connect with one another. These meetups are about fostering that sense of community.”

The businesses that host the gatherings are Chamber members too. For these businesses, meetups provide built-in exposure and an opportunity to build lasting bonds with potential customers.

“We want to be part of the community, and the Chamber members are part of the community. They get to know us, and we get to know them,” said Anvar Tulyag, co-owner of Paris Baguette Bakery Café, where the first meetup will be held. “They can come and enjoy themselves and then tell other customers.”

The first meetup is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 10 at Paris Baguette Bakery Café, 7945 N. Blackstone Ave., Fresno. The event is free to active Chamber members, though they will have to pay for any refreshments they would like to purchase at the café.
