FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno businesses are facing an insurance crisis as wildfire risks drive up premiums across California. Skyrocketing rates and widespread policy nonrenewals are making affordable coverage increasingly difficult to secure, threatening Fresno’s commercial sector.
FRESNO, Calif. – The Tower District Specific Plan Implementation Committee convened on January 14, 2025, at Fresno City Hall to discuss progress on the area’s specific plan update. A major highlight was the announcement of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR), anticipated for completion by late summer or early fall. Following the EIR, a 45-day public comment period will provide community members the opportunity to review and offer feedback. The finalized plan is slated for presentation to the Fresno City Council by the end of 2025.
