Special Announcement – Coronavirus – March 16

March 16, 2020

Dear Fresno Chamber of Commerce members, community partners, and friends:

As the situation with the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across the world continues  to evolve, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, like all businesses, continues to react to changes in directives from local, state and federal authorities. We are working to prioritize the health and  safety of our staff, volunteers and members while working diligently to serve the needs of all Fresno businesses during this unprecedented period.

Effective immediately, the Chamber office is closed to the public until further notice. Members requiring assistance with certificates of origin or other essential business can contact the office at (559) 495-4800 to make an appointment.

All Chamber programs and in-person meetings currently slated for the month of March have been cancelled. This includes:
• Mixers and ribbon cuttings
• Leadership Fresno class day
• Lunch and Learn programs
• Junior Board programs

The Chamber will continue to utilize our website and social media channels to distribute official information and recommendations from local, state and federal health authorities as appropriate, as well as act as a resource to share information on how businesses and employees can react to the virus and its effects. We are also working to develop online programs that all Fresno businesses can use as a resource for information to assist their employees and ensure stability during this difficult period. We recognize that the situation is very fluid, and we will remain in contact with local authorities and evaluate the situation daily to ensure the health and safety of our members, staff and the general public.
