Welcome, MADE Central California

2022 MADE Central California

Welcome, MADE Central California

One of Central California’s most iconic food industry events returns with a new look and a new award platform. MADE Central California will take place at the Fresno Convention Center on August 31 – September 1 and will become one of the Fresno Chamber’s Annual Signature Events.

What to Expect

The Fresno Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce MADE Central California. This food industry tradeshow will bring back elements that all food and beverage companies love, as well as sprinkle in a little more flavor to add to the experience.

Like the original Food Expo, MADE Central California will give local food and beverage companies the opportunity to connect with retail and foodservice buyers, participate in roundtable discussions, network with peers and so much more. Lastly, on day two, MADE will welcome the public to TASTE Central California and allow local customers to engage with companies, sample their products, and get to see the finest products Central California has to offer.

What’s New?!

The extra flavor comes in the form of an opportunity for Industry Service Providers (non-food companies) to exhibit and participate in the event as well as adding a new spotlight on ag tech. New connections will be MADE during industry speed dating that will take place on day one. The new award platform, Pressure Cooker, inspired by the hit show, ‘Shark Tank’ will give participants a television cameo as well as a chance to win a cash prize. Pressure Cooker will be broadcasted by KSEE24.

Fresno Chamber of Commerce Takes on MADE

“Since the Food Expo ended in 2019, there has been an outpouring of community support to bring this event back,” stated Amy Fuentes, Chief Operating Officer at the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, and the previous founder and manager of the Fresno Food Expo. That support also came from Mayor Jerry Dyer. He expressed interest in bringing back a food tradeshow, and we knew we had to get involved.

Earlier this year, Fresno Chamber added Rebecca Sustaita to the staff to help bring MADE Central California to life. Sustaita’s knowledge and experience in this area comes from being a part of four Fresno Food Expo events. Both Amy and Rebecca have been working hard to make this event bigger and better than ever. And come August 31 you will see all that hard work come full circle.
